NKCC health walk to the Pyramid on 27 Sept
Our next walk is on Saturday 27th September. We will walk to the Pyramid at Anderston via the river and Kelvingrove Park, past the Gurdwara and back via the statue of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Finnieston and Kelvin Way.
Meeting point
Meet on Queen Margaret Bridge at the junction with Queen Margaret Road at 2pm, opposite our noticeboard.
About the walk
This walk is 5.77km or 3.58 miles.
Access/safety
The route is largely step-free with the only stairs being down to the river at the start. Please dress for the weather and you may wish to bring drinking water.
Full details of the route
From Queen Margaret Drive walk along Queen Margaret Road and descend to the river walkway. Walk along the river to Kelvingrove Park.
Continue through the Park, until you reach the exit at North Claremont Street. Cross Sauchiehall St, walk Claremont Street, Berkeley Street, Elderslie Street to the Pyramid.
Walk back along through the houses to the Charles Rennie Mackintosh statue. Along Argyle Street to Radnor St and Kelvin Way.
Along to Bank Street, Great Western Road, cross to Hamilton Park Avenue, Hamilton Drive, Queen Margaret Drive.
Registration
There is no need to book – you can just come along on the day.

Remember…
★ Please wear comfortable shoes
★ Dress for the weather and consider bringing drinking water
★ Walkers needing 1:1 support should bring a buddy with them to help
★ Children must be accompanied by an adult
