NKCC health walk, 7 March

Partick Burgh Hall

Our next walk is on Saturday 7 March 2026 and will go to Partick Burgh Hall and Hayburn Park through Hyndland. Meet as usual at 2pm.

Meeting point

Meet on Queen Margaret Bridge at the junction with Queen Margaret Road at 2pm, opposite our noticeboard.

About the walk

The route is 5.63 km (3.5 miles).

Access/safety

Some of the walk is on rough and uneven cobbles. There are a couple of small steps at Crown Terrace which can be avoided.

Please dress for the weather and you may wish to bring drinking water.

Full details of the route

Queen Margaret Road, cross over and walk down Queen Margaret Drive, cross over and join Byres Road. Turn right at Waitrose to Kew Lane, Belhaven Terrace Lane, Horselethill Road, Kensington Gate, Kensington Road, Sydenham Road, Prince Albert Road, Hyndland Road, Turnberry Road, Partickhill Road, Partickhill Lane, Peel Street, Burgh Hall Street, Fortrose Street, Peel Street, Hayburn Crescent, through Hayburn Park to Turnberry Road, Hyndland Road, Crown Terrace, Crown Road South, Dowanside Road, Byres Road, Queen Margaret Drive to Queen Margaret Road.

Registration

There is no need to book – you can just come along on the day.

However, if you haven’t done so already, it would be helpful if you could record your participation by entering your data on this registration link. (This needs to be done only once.)

Remember…

★ Please wear comfortable shoes

★ Dress for the weather and consider bringing drinking water

★ Walkers needing 1:1 support should bring a buddy with them to help

★ Children must be accompanied by an adult
