Dog walkers: look out for suspicious behaviour in the park

We have been contacted by a member of the public who witnessed a man emptying raw mince onto the paving at the steps from Belmont Street Bridge leading to down to the Kelvin Walkway. We would deem this behaviour to be potentially suspicious and of concern considering recent incidents of a similar nature at Kelvingrove Park, again involving the deliberate placement of poisoned meat. The individual was described as having short, dark greying hair, slim build. average height, wearing all black (jeans and jacket) including a black baseball style cap. Please be observant when walking your dogs and make sure that they don’t pick up anything out of place. Please report any suspicious activity to Police Scotland or the Scottish SPCA.
