Employer-supported volunteering

It was miserable weather at our October clean-up but with the help of our volunteers we collected 16 bags of litter that otherwise would still be polluting our streets.

We were glad to be joined by three enthusiastic employees of Root One West and are grateful for all their help.
Their company was participating in employer-supported volunteering, which enables staff to take part in volunteering opportunities, usually during work time. These activities can be practical or skills-based.
