NKCC health walk, 24 Jan
Our next walk is on Saturday 24 January 2026. Destination Hyndland and Downahill. Meet as usual at 2pm.
Meeting point
Meet on Queen Margaret Bridge at the junction with Queen Margaret Road at 2pm, opposite our noticeboard.
About the walk
Access/safety
Route
From Queen Margaret Road recross and enter the Botanics near the toilets. Cutting through to the small gate on Great Western Road.
Walking along GWR until Cuku, where we cross to walk up Horselethill Road, Victoria Circus, left onto Dundonald Road, Bowmont Gardens, Bowmont Terrace, through the gap (Victoria Cresent Place), right onto Victoria Cresent Road, Downhill Street, Downside Road, Crown Road South, Crown Terrace to Sydenham Lane.
Go right along Hyndland Road, to Westbourne Road, left onto Westbourne Gardens West, right along Westbourne Gardens North, onto Westbourne Gardens South, Belhaven Terrace West, Horselethill Road.
Registration
There is no need to book – you can just come along on the day.
However, if you haven’t done so already, it would be helpful if you could record your participation by entering your data on this registration link. (This needs to be done only once.)
Remember…
★ Please wear comfortable shoes
★ Dress for the weather and consider bringing drinking water
★ Walkers needing 1:1 support should bring a buddy with them to help
★ Children must be accompanied by an adult
