Road closures because of carriageway resurfacing, July 2023

Gartcraig Roads Depot inform us that local roads will be affected by closure/diversion for resurfacing. Local access will be maintained:

Carriageway resurfacing works have been scheduled for:
Street: Great Western Road – Kirklee Road to Hamilton Park Avenue
Date and time: Saturday 15 July 2023  to Saturday 22 July 2023 (08:30 – 21:00 each day)
During this time, a temporary Road Closure restriction of road use will be in place on the carriageway at the following locations:
Saturday 15 July to Monday/Tuesday 17/18 July

• Great Western Road closed between Kirklee Road and Park Road
• Byres Road/Queen Margaret Drive closed between University Avenue and Maryhill Road.

Tuesday 18 July to Saturday 22 July

• Great Western Road closed between Byres Road and Park Road

Diversions will be sign posted and local access will be maintained at all times.
